Allstate Insurance Company has an exceptional career opportunity for a PIP/Med Pay First Party Processor in St. Petersburg, FL. The ideal candidate is responsible for assisting in the handling of claims that fall within the PIP/Med Pay claim segmentation. As directed by an adjuster, or working pursuant to standardized guidelines, the PIP/Med Pay Processor is responsible for reviewing the claim file, making initial customer contact, answering customer inquiries, resolving billing exceptions, clearing bills, and processing medical and non-medical benefits.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Previous customer service experience is required.
- Previous PIP/ Medical injury/ Insurance knowledge is a plus.
- Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills as well as computer skills.
- Candidates should possess the ability to manage relationships in a fast paced environment, while demonstrating persistence and problem solving skills.
