Working under the direction of the Manager of Clinical Services, the Medical Assistant assists the physician/provider with all general medicine or specialized medical practice duties. 

Essential Job Functions:

• Rooms patients and provides for patient flow per schedule
• Accurate charging on fee slips or AEMR, carting and documentation of all (AEMR) medical records.
• Assists with patient phone messages and call backs per provider instruction.
• Performs procedures and administers medications per scope of certification per provider order.

Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, and  a graduate of a state recognized Medical Assistant school are required.
• Active CPR Card
• A minimum of 2 years experience as a certified Medical Assistant in an ambulatory care facility or medical group practice is required.

Basic computer skills.  Previous IDX experience is a plus!
