About the Job
Busy OB/GYN practice seeking full or part-time experienced medical assistant with a minimum of 2 years experience. The job description would include verifying patient history information, obtaining vital signs, chief complaints, and recording information into the electronic system. Candidate would also be responsible for preparing rooms for exams or procedures, ordering supplies, prescriptions, etc. along with working closely with providers and coworkers in a team atmosphere. Other duties would include performing NST's on OB patients, assisting providers with procedures or exams as needed, calling in prescriptions to pharmacies, and sending normal result letters to patients. Experience with OB/GYN preferred. Full-time position offers competitive wages and generous benefit package.
