^Medical Assistant Primary duty is to perform a range of routine clinical tasks to include assisting physician providers in patient procedures and patient care; preparing patient for minor surgical procedures as needed; acquiring patient vitals; assist in managing patient flow, chaperoning, stocking rooms, answering telephones, assisting with the ordering of supplies, communicating effectively with others, both verbally as well as with the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system .
