Provides quality appropriate patient care, utilizing customer service skills throughout the patient care continuum. Collects pertinent patient data and coordinates with provide and team for appropriate patient intervention. Works with front office to ensure smooth patient flow and waiting room management. Resolves moderately complex issues and defers appropriately to supervision.    Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for collection and documentation of patient information to include vital signs, chief compliant, review of medications, allergies, health risk screen information, status of extended care benefits and other services Assists with phone calls and messages. Qualifications: Ability to perform complex Medical Assistant tasks including tests and treatments within the clinical scope. Ability to coordinate the consensus needed to achieve the medical plan for the patient. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of or ability to learn and apply job functions.  Must possess computer skills, window based applications, organization skills.  Previous experience with electronic medical records preferred. Minimum two (2) years experience in an ambulatory care setting. High School diploma or equivalent.  Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant school required. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
