Medical Assisting Instructor

Fortis College – Montgomery has an opening for a part-time Medical Assistant Instructor to teach day and evening classes.


 


Must have strong Computer Software skills in Word, Power Point, Excel; previous teaching experience essential.


 


Must have a strong knowledge base and be able to teach Clinical Lab, including injections, veni-puncture, ECG’s, Pharmacology and math associated with formulas, all compatible with AAMA competency standards.


 


Familiar with all medical skills associated with curricula:  Anatomy and Physiology and Administrative/Front Office Skills, Medical Billing and Coding.


 


Candidate must have a strong medical background, Certification preferred, and have worked in the field for at least 3 years.
