What you’ll do:

You’ll abstract clinical information from a variety of healthcare records and validate ICD-9, CPT and/or DRG codes for appropriateness.  You’ll also provide subject matter expertise on coding issues and questions.

What you bring:

You have at least two years of experience with medical billing, coding, and/or health information management; high school diploma or equivalent; intermediate MS Office Suite proficiency; and current, active RHIT, RHIA, CCA, or CCS certification.

NOTE:  This is a 30-hour per week position; the schedule is flexible within "core" business hours of 8am - 5pm, Monday – Friday, and will be performed on-site in our Cayce office.
