Our National Security Global Business is currently seeking a Medical Counter-CBRN Planner at Mountain Home AFB, Idaho.
Position Responsibilities
NSGB is seeking a full-time Medical CBRN Management Planner at Mountain Home AFB, Idaho. As a Medical CBRN Management Planner, you will initiate and sustain Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) medical planning and emergency medical response programs at an Air Force Medical Treatment Facility (MTF). You will assist with emergency response planning and assessments of medical facility CBRN emergency response programs, to include equipment readiness, training, exercise development and evaluations, program management review, and plans/checklist development. You will also prepare quarterly self-inspections and compile medical CBRN metrics. A minimal amount of travel is required. This position does not provide relocation assistance.
THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
- Bachelor's degree in medical CBRN-related area plus 4 years' experience in bioenvironmental engineering, medical readiness, medical operations, emergency management, homeland defense, public health, or medical logistics planning, training, and exercising; or associate's degree in a related field and 8 years' experience.
- Working knowledge of the Air Force Medical Service (AFMS).
- Experience in evaluating homeland defense/CBRN programs.
- Experience in planning and managing medical readiness/CBRN-related programs.
- Excellent oral/written communication skills.
- Functional knowledge of Air Force organization, Surgeon General functions, medical readiness mission, Air Force Incident Management System, Air Force Emergency Management Program, and concepts related to CBRN, first responder and first receiver.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
THE FOLLOWING IS DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
- Active DoD Secret security clearance.
This position is based on project funding.
