Director of Sales: Medical Device

Our client, a South Florida based medical device company is looking for a Director of Sales to manage, plan and execute the sales functions of their highly developed surgical products. Director will proposes and executes policies and programs to achieve maximum sales volume potential for products and/or services. Additional responsibilities include:
- Determining staffing levels to accomplish the company’s sales objectives, and selecting, evaluating and supporting sales personnel.
- The training and dissemination of information to the field sales organization.
- Meeting and/or exceeding annual sales objectives
- Coordinate and perform reviews of agent agreements, physician agreements, projects and proposals from the sales force.
- Plans and maintains departmental budgets and effective operation of the Sales Department.
- Works with customers to ensure that products conform to customer requirements and meet customer needs.
Requirements:
R BS/BA with MBA preferred
R 7+ years medical device sales management experience
R Selling experience in surgical medical devices, preferably with orthopedics or implants
