Adecco Engineering and Technical is currently in need of a Medical Device Repair Technician for our client in Indianapolis, Indiana. The duration of this assignment ranges from nine to twelve months.
Medical Device Repair Technician
Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
As a member of our team, you will contribute to the growth of the business by driving all activities related to the configuration, refurbishment, and final inspection of a variety of medical device systems.
Duties include:
Ensuring system meets customer PO requirements
Assessing and identifying the functional status of the system
Correcting malfunctions by making adjustments and/or replacing parts/having them fixed as directed and within established time and quality parameters
Configuring the equipment to order
Refurbishing the unit to like-new condition
Ensuring all inventory used is reflected on green sheet
Ensuring zero defects are found by final test inspector
Keeping tools and test equipment properly maintained and calibrated
Improving productivity via quality metrics and LEAN initiatives
Adhering to inventory directives
Keeping a clean and orderly workplace
100% compliance to EHS requirements/initiatives.
