Seeking an experienced imgaging technician, preferably with OEM experience. Must have minimum 8 years field service experience on medical imaging. Repairs, calibrates, and maintains medical equipment and instrumentation used in health care delivery field by performing the following duties. Inspects and installs medical and related technical equipment in medical facilities. Repairs, calibrates, and maintains medical x-ray equipment. Safety tests medical equipment to ensure patient and staff safety from electrical or mechanical hazards. Consults with staff to ascertain that equipment functions properly and safely. Demonstrates and explains correct operation of equipment to facility staff. Modifies or develops devices under supervision. Serves as a resource to other service engineers and technicians in two to three modalities. This position is required to take after hours call and respond as necessary. This position is also required to travel on a regular basis to complete the job duties. PLEASE LIST EXPERIENCE WITH SPECIFIC LIST OF MANUFACTURER AND MEDICAL EQUIPMENT.
Qualifications Education and/or Experience Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Expertise in two to three modalities in the repair and service of x-ray, medical imaging, CTand Cath Labs. Military BMET Radiology training in a formal BMET program and/or has completed factory training on imaging equipment. CRES a Plus!!!

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software.
