Medical Office Manager
Prominent orthopaedic practice (12 MD’s) in Hawthorne, NY seeks experienced health care manager to guide practice thru a major IT, EMR and radiology expansion and ongoing operations management. Strong project management, workflow analysis and interpersonal skills required. Ortho experience preferred. Familiarity with Medical Manager. Revenue cycle experience will be strongly considered.
Responsibilities: (Expansion)
1. Project Manager and primary liaison between practice and IT vendors in
Planning and implementing upgrades to practice systems and patient flow.
Responsibilities: (Ongoing)
- Provide direct supervision of all front end operations personnel including reception, medical secretary, transcription, medical records and cast tech personnel to meet the practice objectives. Liaison with physicians.
- Schedule appropriate staff to meet the daily operational objectives of thepractice.
- Recruit, hire, train, develop, coach, counsel and discipline employees to
maintain optimum levels of service to our patients.
- Develop and maintain a Customer Service environment that maximizes patient, physician and employee satisfaction. Assess existing service opportunities and develop programs and provide training and assessment protocols to ensure compliance.
- Establish, maintain and update registration, clinical and insurance protocols
to assure that timely and accurate information is captured and disseminated to staff.
- Work with administrative, billing and collections leadership in developing, updating and communicating practice protocols to maintain a high level of efficiency throughout the practice.
