Medical Programs Manager - Denver
Description: Kaplan Test Prep & Admissions is seeking a Medical Programs Manager who will hire, manage, and coach a team which could involve Med Advisors, Med Facilitators, and Med Content Specialists. He/She will be responsible for the overall experience of NCLEX and USMLE students at the local center by managing the center service team, executing smooth operations, and driving towards business growth.
Leadership
- Develop an effective team by providing ethical leadership, training, coaching and development
- Recruit, train, manage and coach team to achieve desired outcomes
- Provide ongoing management, coaching, and development of center staff
Business Development and Strategy
- Provide ongoing coaching, and development of center service staff
- Recruit, hire, and train center service staff
- Ensure excellence in all med student experiences in the local center and at retreat locations
- Develop and implement course delivery improvements based on student surveys, feedback, and inquiries
- Drive financial performance by leading efforts in top line growth and controlling expenses through efficient center processes, effective class scheduling and staffing
- Advise students with professionalism and expertise, use a consultative sales approach with new prospects
- Resolve student concerns and lead center staff to take proactive measures to prevent customer complaints
- Serve as Designated School Official to process international student visas, maintain F-1 student files in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Negotiate contracts with schools, vendors, and businesses

Requirements
- 3+ years experience in operations, sales, or comparable area of management
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to work extended hours in order to meet business objectives
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
