Medical Records Coordinator

About the Job

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Medical Records Coordinator is responsible for the day to day operations and work flow of the Medical Records Department as well as maintaining and processing medical record documentation in a manner that corresponds with the goals of the practice of high quality care, OHI policy and procedure, and overview in a timely manner. The Medical Records Coordinator will also function as a Medical Records Clerk and will be responsible for scanning documents into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

Additional Requirements:           Bilingual (Spanish/English) is strongly preferred, Must be computer literate and have the ability to work in a fast pace and high volume environment.  Teamwork is essential, as is professionalism and courtesy.  Must be able to maintain patient confidentiality.
