Medical Secretary

Facility: St. John's Mercy Health Care Department: Mercy Clinic Child Psych ***MERCY HOSPITAL ST. LOUIS*** Medical Secretary position available for Mercy Clinic Child Psych, part time, days. Answers and screens phone calls. Greets patients and/or checks them in and out. Provides referrals and pre-certs appropriate to patient and insurance coverage. Follows up on lab tests, pharmacy calls, etc, as appropriate. Transcribes physicians notes and correspondence. Provides service to patients as directed by physician. Maintains waiting room. Performs other clerical or job-related duties as needed.
