HISTORY In early 2001, after developing a viable business model, Onsite Dental began offering services to the Bay Area's underserved population, and the Onsite Dental Foundation was created. Since then, the foundation has provided dental services to homeless patients in shelters, at clinics, and at other locations through grants from local government agencies and other foundations. Not long after 9/11, it became known that the California National Guard did not have sufficient resources to meet the dental requirements needed to send soldiers to Afghanistan and Iraq. The Guard needed support to ensure that their soldiers were "dentally ready" to deploy. It was then that Onsite Dental began its partnership with the CaliforniaNational Guard. What began in California quickly spread across the country. Onsite Health has since provided services for the National Guard in over 40 states, typically on drill weekends. This experience sparked interest from the active component of the U.S. Military, leading Onsite Dental to begin providing ongoing services- similar to the way we serve corporations- at several Air Force,Marine, and Navy bases. In addition to dental services, Onsite began providing "Periodic Health Assessments" to the National Guard. In 2007 and 2008 the company expanded its fleet of mobile medical practices to better meet the National Guard's medical and dental requirements. Our medical fleet now includes general purpose medical vehicles and specialty hearing vehicles with different levels of sound insulation. In 2008 we changed our name from Onsite Dental to Onsite Health in order to recognize the broader scope of services provided. In 2009, Onsite Health introduced its first "transformer" practice. This type of vehicle can be configured from medical to dental use, and vice versa, within a few hours. With the intent of better serving our clients nationwide, we have further decentralized our operations and expanded our regional offices from three to seven. Throughout its history, Onsite Health has been committed to continuous innovation and improvement. We constantly look for ways to better serve our patients and clients, and we thrive on your feedback and ideas. EQUPTMENT
