Duties include specimen receipt, handling, processing/preparing, flow cytometry analysis, flow cytometry gating principles, reagent preparation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and operation of flow Cytometer analyzers, quality control analysis and interpretation.  Inventory monitoring and other duties as assigned within the flow cytometry laboratory.



  • Bachelor's degree or educational equivalent in medical technology

  • Certification such as A.S.C.P., N.C.A., A.M.T preferred.

  • Candidate must have minimum 5 years experience in flow cytometry analysis with at least some whole blood analysis for lymphocyte subset testing.  Other disciplines such as stem cell, bone marrow, and tissue analysis will be considered.

  • Candidate must be able to work a consistent Tuesday through Saturday work schedule (Day Shift)

  • In depth knowledge of laboratory safety and infection control procedures and practices including standard precautions and hazardous chemical handling

  • Indepth knowledge of laboratory equipment, instrumentation and terminology used in the area of responsibility


  • Effective computer skills


  • Ability to maintain effective reporting procedures and control workflow


  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
