Job Description:
This position provides application and limited technical support for the product line and is responsible for triage and troubleshooting assistance with the application end-user, Physicians, clinicians, case managers, vendors, technical, and Help Desk staff.
The Clinical Software Trainer works closely with other Information Technology departments and may assist with limited technical aspects of a product implementation and on-going support. The incumbent may monitor clinical systems and patient documentation for data quality, integrity, operation, and efficiency.
This position must possess a thorough understanding of ambulatory clinic operations including staff roles, disease management programs, outpatient operations and ancillary systems that are associated to clinic operations, and practice management software.
The Clinical Software Trainer will assist in work flow analysis to determine appropriate technology solutions for clinical settings. The incumbent must maintain a familiarity with new and currently installed applications.
