We are working with our client in locating a Medical Website Writer to write for two websites. In this role, you will work closely with the client on an on-going basis, creating new descriptive content and frequently updating written materials presented on the site.
The goal is to develop abundant always-fresh quality content to increase the search frequency of the site. Specific keywords will be used to increase traffic from search engines. The ratio of text copy to pictures will grow over time.
Requirements:
Proven writer of high-quality consumer web content
Ability to write about medical procedures in an easy manner to plastic surgery patient audience (demographic men and women 20 to 60 years of age)
Ability to produce 50 to 200 pages of content on a recurring monthly basis (please be ready to state how many pages per hour can be produced for interview)
Experience in the medical field desirable (content is geared to non-technical audience but background in the materials will help the writer understand the subject matter easily)
Willingness to spend at least one hour/week with SME discussing content to be developed (this SME time will diminish over time as writer becomes more autonomous)
Start Date: First week of December
Duration: On-going part-time (no end date as content needs constant refreshment and the vision is to have writer constantly on retainer).
