Bottom Line Systems, Inc. is a healthcare consulting company, specializing in identifying and collecting managed care underpayments and denials for our customers for the past 12-years!  Due to our rapid growth, we are seeking to add several energetic, passionate people to our organization of Managed Care Professionals.  We are currently in need of a full-time Medicare Claims Manager and an Analyst to join our team at our Corporate Headquarters in Crescent Springs, KY.

 

Position Responsibilities

• Manage and support a team of Medicare Claim Analysts
• Performing research regarding Medicare guidelines and regulations and effectively communicating information to associates, colleagues, managers and client
• Reviewing, analyzing and interpreting managed care contracts and claims
• Effectively communicating department business and abilities to internal and external customers
• Following up with insurance companies regarding underpayments and denials
• Writing appeals and adjustment requests on behalf of client
• Communicate with client contact concerning all issues related to billing, posting, contracts, etc...both in an informal manner through daily contact and formal manner through scheduled meetings

 

Position Requirements

• Minimum 2 years Management experience and 2 years experience in operational setting, preferably in managed care, insurance or hospital patient accounts.
• Thorough knowledge of Medicare guidelines
• Experience reviewing and analyzing hospital claims
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Knowledge of health care code sets such as CPT, ICD-9, HCPC, DRG, etc.
• Strong work ethic
• Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
