We currently have an exceptional opportunity available for an experienced Melt Shop Supervisor for our Koppel, PA facility.

This supervisor will provide overall melting knowledge, direction and leadership to the melting and refining operations as well as constantly make improvements in safety, quality and productivity. The Melt Shop Supervisor will supervise 40 union employees.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

·         Requires a high school diploma or GED; college degree in Engineering or Business is preferred

·         Must possess 2 years experience in EAF or continuous casting operations, including refractory; experience with EAF and ladle refining operations is highly desirable

·         The Melt Shop Supervisor must have electric arc furnace experience

·         Requires good interpersonal, leadership, organizational, planning and participative management skills

·         Must be results-oriented for safety, quality and productivity

·         Experience directing bargaining unit employees is preferred

·         Shift work may be required
