The Auburn Hills and Southgate Michigan contact centers have doubled their growth within the past year and anticipate another 30% growth in business. As a Member Service Representative, you will respond to inbound member calls and provide servicing, cross-selling and lending application solutions as well as offer support for debit/credit/prepaid cardholders and online bill payment subscribers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Effectively handle 80 to 100 inbound credit union member calls per day · Act as a liaison and extension of the credit union by providing its members with financial services, solutions and support. · Respond to member inquiries utilizing multiple systems to provide general information on member’s accounts while controlling and managing the calls · Provide professional personalized member care in a pleasant and friendly manner to all credit union members · Manage challenging situations by responding promptly and appropriately to the needs of the member. · Assist members with the completion of consumer loan, CDs, Debit/Credit card applications (when applicable). · Maintain or exceed established monthly quality and production goals Qualifications · Excellent customer service skills · Ability to troubleshoot and analyze problems · Strong oral and written communication skills · Possess above average reading comprehension skills · Strong computer and navigation skills including Word and the Internet. Preferences · Minimum 6 months customer service experience required; 6 months call center or 2 years general customer service experience preferred. · PC/Windows-based software experience required with basic knowledge of Word and Excel applications. · Bilingual Spanish speaking (premium pay) Compensation and Benefits · Health Care Benefits Offered (Medical, Dental, Vision) · Base $9.25 per hour + $2.20 variable bonus = $11.45 per hour potential Base wage increases at 90, 180, and 365 days · 401k Opportunity in 30-days (Employer Matching up to 6%) To Apply: click on link below to our careers website and select Michigan Locations
