As the newest member of the Telecare family, Telecare Pierce County Evaluation and Treatment Center will be a 16 bed inpatient psychiatric unit. An interdisciplinary team will provide progressive recovery–based services to adults who have mental illness.
• Develop departmental goals, objectives, standards of performance, policies and procedures
• Organize the department in accordance with administrative guidelines in order to provide specified nursing services to meet the legal, organizational and medical staff guidelines
• Function in an advisory capacity to the administrator in evaluating procedural changes as they relate to Client care
• Directs the implementation and ensures compliance with standards of nursing practice that promote optimal health care delivery and meet regulatory requirements
To be a success:
• You must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and have four years of experience, two years in psychiatric nursing and two years in a supervisory capacity OR a baccalaureate degree in nursing or a related field with two years of experience and one year in a supervisory capacity
• MSN degree is preferred as is administrative experience in long term care
• Current valid licensure as an RN in the state of Washington is required and CPR certification is preferred
• Must have a strong understanding of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Concepts and Recovery philosophy
• Applicant may be finger printed and receive clearance from the Washington State Patrol Identification and Criminal History Section
