Duties include...Obtain data base information from newly admitted patients and perform search for contraband items. Make rounds as directed. Assess environment during shift for safety, order, cleanliness and the potential for actual emergent and/or dangerous situations. Observe and assist patients. Report significant findings: e.g., any change in physical and/or mental condition to licensed personnel. Participate in application of care as indicated by care plan under the direction of licensed personnel. Monitor patient on observational status and report and record behavioral changes. Communicate with patients and other staff regarding patient care. Assist with ADL as needed. Serve on Nursing Committees.
