Responsibilities will include:
- Manage the development and loading menu schedules that meet all costs, nutritional guidelines and customer preferences on a rolling 12 month forecasted basis.
- Manage the Bid Menu Process to include the creation, modification, pricing compliance and “what-if” analysis related to Bid Menus during the Sales cycles for new customers and re-bids for existing customers.
- Provides expert insight regarding regulations, policy, guidance and resources related to the USDA National School Lunch Program.
- Manage the development and loading of all direct shipment account menus on an as needed basis.
- Plans, implements and controls the flow of data between Sales, Marketing, Finance and the Supply Chain to ensure the integrity of the menus meet all parameters/ requirements.
- Creates and manages the continuous improvement process of all Menu planning systems.
- Represent Menu Team in key cross-functional decisions and processes, including short- and long-term marketing/sales discussions, product initiatives, sales and operations planning, as well as future systems integration.
- Participates and co-leads new product development planning as well as assist in the product Life Cycle management process.
- Manages the Menuing cyclical planning process to achieve optimal cost and nutritional parameters.
- Manage and maintain all Menuing/Item information and systems data requirements.
- Report menu costs on a monthly basis to ensure menus meet cost target parameters.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in implementing and managing change.
- Sets strategy and direction for the Menu Team and leads team members toward achieving SMART Goals.
- Drive coordination of Menu processes and activities across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and IS.
