PRIMARY DUTIES:
'Responsible for monitoring inventory levels of both Power Wheels and Baby Gear items, recommending additional inventory as justified and demonstrating knowledge of trends and history to support such decisions.
'Responsible for building and installing Power Wheels and Baby Gear displays in assigned stores. Also required to install fixtures and displays in new and remodel stores
'Responsible for the evaluation and disposition of returned vehicles, decision making with regard to credit vs. non-credit, and 'selling' this disposition to the appropriate store personnel.
'Ensure that assembled product is fully operational, boxed product 100% complete and that all merchandise on the sales floor is presented to the consumer appropriately.
'Responsible for educating account personnel on products, practices, and policies.
'Provide valuable market and product information to internal organizations.
'Responsible for management of merchandising territories averaging more than 70 retail outlets.
'Requires up to 50% overnight travel and the maintenance of a parts inventory.
'Physical dexterity including bending, twisting, reaching, and climbing ladders is required.
'Ability to lift a minimum of 60 pounds on a regular basis is required.
'Ability to manipulate up to 100 lbs using a hand truck or mechanical means
SKILLS:
'Strong knowledge of Power Wheels and Baby Gear products.
'Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with people at all levels.
'Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
'Strong analytical skills. Must be able to predict/diagnose problems and identify solutions.
'Strong customer service, time management/organizational skills.
'Strong mechanical aptitude.
'Preferred experience in one or more of the following: customer service, sales, retail sales/management, territory/budget management and product service marketing.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
'High school diploma or equivalent, Associate degree preferred.
'1-2 years related experience in merchandising, customer service, sales, retail sales, or sales/territory management.
'Exemplary attendance and job performance.
