Senior Legacy Mainframe developer is required to support client's department of Validation and Testing to support the ongoing Validation environment. Activities include developing utility code (CLIST, REXX, JCL) for the purpose of executing new Validations. The individual should also be fluent in the technical skills listed in order to effectively troubleshoot, develop solutions for error conditions and re-execute to bring the validations to a successfull conclusion.

Experience in IBM z/OS (OS/390/MVS) application development, production control, or job scheduling.
Specific requirements are:
- Technical:
z/OS (IBM mainframe) experience with JCL, TSO, ISPF - Required
o Experience developing and maintaining JCL and related entities for application software systems - Required
o COBOL and DB2 programming experience to enable analysis of code written by others - HighlyDesired
o Strong REXX and/or CLIST experience to automate job processing - Highly Desired
o Experience/exposure to Control-M or other mainframe-based job scheduling tools - Highly Desired
o Experience with mainframe-based software configuration management systems such as ENDEVOR - Highly Desired
o Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel - Required
o DB2/SQL experience - Required
o Testbase experience - Required
o Metadata Analyzer experience - Required
- General:
o Detail oriented and committed to consistently completing repetitive production-like tasks on-time and error-free - CRITICAL
o Excellent customer relations skills - Required
o Self-starter, highly motivated individual; team player who can adapt to changes in customer requirements - Required
o Excellent written and verbal skills - Required
o Ability to research problems and provide solutions - Required
o Ability to function as technical Work Order Manager - Highly Desired
