LPI (Lucius Pitkin, Inc.), a New York City based engineering consulting firm established in 1885, has an immediate opening for a Metallurgical Lab Technician with at least 10 years experience. 

The company seeks an individual to perform Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), mechanical testing and other testing using metallurgical testing techniques at our New York City location. 

The successful candidate shall demonstrate an ability to work independently, in a team setting and possess interpersonal skills to work in multi-disciplined groups in developing effective engineering solutions.  This candidate shall also demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as problem solving skills and techniques.  A working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis routines is essential.

Employment will be contingent upon submission to and successful completion of post-offer/pre-placement drug and alcohol screening, as well as verification of the information and qualifications provided during the selection process.
