PMEL Technician Opening

The CFP Group has an immediate contractor position available to work in the ATF Fire Research Lab located at BELTSVILLE, MD just outside Washington DC.  If you want to take your PMEL skills to the next level in an interesting, exciting, & rewarding career this is the job for you.

Required Education

Candidate should have graduated from a Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory school.  Additional degrees in the sciences is a plus but not mandatory.

Required Experience

Candidate should have 5 years of PMEL experience.  Candidate should have experience in Data Acquisition, general test equipment, temperature, pressure, velocity, & mass measurements.  Candidate should also have experience with automated calibration software specifically Fluke MetCal & Labview.  Knowledge of ISO requirements, NIST traceability, & equipment tracking and documentation is also essential.

Additional skills in visual basic, communication between test equipment and pc, fire measurement are also a big plus.
