Job Description:





Manage a Logistics function supporting the Dallas, TX area covering a diverse product base and multiple site support that: a) requires contractual and resource oversight due to a high dollar value, an extended period of performance, significant impact to a program, and financial risk; b) are integral to the delivery of services and have the ability to affect our end-item deliveries; or c) have service oversight to assure tasks are performed in accordance with a statement of work or service agreement.





Duties/Responsibilities:



* Manage and meet compliance requirements in the area of Safety, MMAS, Command Media, and Corrective Action Board actions. Develop plans to execute the support of long term strategies for the business, SCM, and Logistics at both the business(es) and corporate level.



* Manage Logistics personnel in the Texas region (McKinney & Dallas) in lean logistics practices. Direct experience in creating, approving, and managing service levels, budgets and compliance.



* Ensure employees are actively managed in accordance with SAS strategies in the areas of trust and respect, employee development and communication.



* Work with material program managers, Finance, Sourcing, Quality, capture teams, and suppliers to identify and manage strategic plans to acheive Raytheon objectives.



* Works closely with the program office to understand the integrated master plan/integrated master schedule (IMP/IMS) key milestones, cost targets, export/licensing requirements, programmatic risks, etc.







Basic Qualifications:







* Minimum of 6 years of directly related work experience.



* Management experience with FAR compliant subcontracts.



* Previous management of large complex logistics functions supporting multiple customers.



* Understanding of supply chain inter-relationships with program and capability to align requirements to lean management strategies.



* Experience in creating baselines and managing through and performance based metrics.



* Demonstrated knowledge of the integrated supply chain.



* Experience and understanding of government contracts/process & procedures, Federal Acquisition & Regulation (FAR), and Material Management & Accounting Systems (MMAS).



* Experience and ability to resolve technical issues associated with logistical requirements and performance including Risk and Opportunity management.



* Ability to accurately manage cost (budget, headcount, service agreements and performance, etc.)







Desired Skills:

-Master's Degree preferred

-Existing DoD Confidential security clearance





Required Education:

-Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Math, Supply Chain, Logistics, or other closely-related field
