Brief statement of mission/purpose of work group: Support the Force Protection SLAMRAAM program (reporting to Integrated Defense System's National Theater and Security Programs) by developing and participating in program and enterprise level supply chain strategies and plans, and ensuring the placement and receipt of material requirements to those strategies and plans are in support of program requirements. This individual is the liaison between the program office and the Supply Chain organization and is responsible for the development, coordination and execution of all program material strategies, supply chain objectives, and enterprise objectives. Manager II, Supply Chain/Material Program Mgmt. Job Description: Perform Material Program Management (MPM) functions, including but not limited to, interdependent execution and collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and Program Management to capture and allocate all requirements affecting the Integrated Supply Chain; develop a material program strategy covering the development of requirements through delivery of goods and services to ensure that the supply chain supports the Program's cost, technical, and schedule objectives, preparing and executing Material Program Plans (MPPs) that supports the material strategy; identifying and mitigating program risks as they pertain to material requirements; lead Make/Buy decisions, establish RFIs and RFPs to assist the PMO in selection of suppliers, establish and oversee material plans to support development items; support monthly Product Line Reviews, material budget/performance management; participate in R6Sigma projects (both Supply Chain and program); resolving Supply Chain issues for the program and resolving program material cost problems; managing program supply chain proposal activities. Basic Qualifications: - 8 - 10 Years Experience in Supply Chain - Experience / capability in supply chain systems: material procurement, negotiations, subcontract management, and/or logistics and asset management - Working knowledge of Integrated Master Planning/Integrated Master Scheduling practices and techniques - Working knowledge of MRP systems - Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in integrated teams - Demonstrated problem solving ability utilizing Raytheon Six Sigma, Six Sigma, or other techniques) - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) - Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business management, or Engineering Desired Qualifications: - Demonstrated ability in leading collaborative, integrated teams - Experience / capability in proposal preparation and estimating - Experience / capability in finance -- budget and forecast management and/or earned-value management - Certificates or formal classes in various elements of Supply Chain Management.
