Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Ability to effectively exercise independent judgment in making decisions from many diversified alternatives that are subject to general review in final stages only. Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner. Ability to be detail oriented as required in the examination of clinical and numerical data.   Job Summary: Reporting to the Director of Surgery Services, the decisions of this position are critical in the management of the revenue/expense cycles for all of Surgery Services in addition to the maintenance of the information system necessary to provide the statistical data. Incumbent is accountable for controllable and capital budget preparation in collaboration with the Director. As the manager of the department of Surgery's scheduling system this position is a major contributor to surgeon satisfaction and efficiency.
