About the Job
As an ASIC Validation Architect, you lead the development of plans, methodologies, and strategies to ensure high levels of coverage and excellent product quality through post-silicon validation.
You are a technically-strong leader, passionate about technology, and understand the value of “thinking outside the box”.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the development of state-of-the-art validation methodologies and techniques
Collaboratively develop test plans with input from Design and supporting teams
Understand Marketing needs to ensure “time to market” and quality are balanced
Identify program risks in terms of coverage, enablement and execution
Mentor junior team members
Provide technically detailed status reports
QUALIFICATIONS:
5 or More years of validation experience. Bachelor or a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
5+ years in ASIC validation
Strong organization and planning skills
Background in ASIC design and Verification is a plus
Solid analog/digital mixed signal experience
Highly motivated and innovative individual with a keen interest in finding and resolving silicon and platform failures
PC system architecture knowledge and understanding of key protocols for memory, PCIe, HT, SATA, USB, etc.
Excellent communication skills
