Information Technology Department – Microsoft Dynamics AX Programmer / Analyst

Power Systems, Inc. is a leading supplier of fitness and sport training equipment and accessories. We are seeking a Microsoft Dynamics AX Programmer / Analyst to see our conversion through. The ideal candidate will be a motivated team player committed to providing superior service.

Main Duties

Pre Implementation

·         Assist in the creation and documentation of necessary business processes

·         Assist in the creation and documentation of all module configurations

·         Provide assistance for all data migration activities

·         Over see and mentor all Interface, reporting, modification and security strategies

·         Assist in the creation and documentation of all Testing and Training plans

·         To accomplish these Pre-Implementation tasks the candidate will

·         Thorough understanding of the Microsoft Dynamics™ AX product and its related technologies, and ensure the technical and application resources are successfully executed on the established project plan. 

·         Work closely with the company’s other Department Managers and Implementation Team to ensure successful completion of the project as scheduled

·         Establish and execute the implementation plan with assistance of consultants.

·         Act  as primary lead and Project Manager

Post-Implementation

·          work with users and Organizational Development to establish and document new processes and procedures related directly and indirectly to implementation of AX and JS

·          work with users to take advantage of identified features of Microsoft AX and Junction Solutions – identify, develop plan with timing, implement and complete plan as identified

·         Ongoing – Support AX and JS by working with users on opportunities

Education

·         Minimum 3+ years experience in an ERP implementation environment.

·         Proficient with Microsoft Dynamics AX

·         Proficient with DAX standard development and implementation tools

·         Through understanding of X++

·         Through Understanding of object oriented programming

·         Through understanding of development “Best Practices”

·         Minimum of 1+ year implementing Microsoft Dynamics AX, or strong end-user of Microsoft Dynamics AX.

·         Excellent organizational, decision making, human relations and communications skills.

·         Project Management experience

·         Certified in Microsoft Dynamics AX, a Plus

·         Previous experience implementing and managing Microsoft Dynamics AX projects is a requirement for this role.

• Good understanding of all major activities for a business system implementation like analysis, design, development, deployment.


• Must have an Object oriented programming background


• Must be fluent in the implementation tools used by Junction Solutions.
