ASA is currently seeking an Intermediate-Level Software Developer with at least 4 years of experience.  Successful candidates will work with a growing team on cutting edge projects to integrate GIS, environmental data, and numerical models, primarily on Windows platforms.  The Candidate will be responsible for ongoing support and maintenance of new and existing C# and VB6 software.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 4 years experience working with C#

- Experience in designing and developing object oriented solutions

- Experience with ASP.Net

- Experience with SQL, HTML, XML, SOA

- Excellent problem solving skills and strong communication skills

- Must be self-motivated, able to work independently and within groups

- Must be able to learn new skills quickly, independently

- Bachelors degree required

- VB6 experience a plus

- ESRI ArcEngine experience a plus

- Experience with multi-threaded application development, NetCDF a plus

- Engineering or oceanography background a plus
