Job Purpose:

Serves clinic patients by delivering primary healthcare; may provide consultation services; is the team leader in the care of the patient.

Duties:

* Provides consultations by examining patients; reviewing medical records, reports, and logs; researching information; developing conclusions and care recommendations; advising supervising physician.

* Treats patients by providing medical care.

* Maintains patient confidence by keeping patient care information confidential.

* Updates medical knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

* Serves and protects the medical community by adhering to professional standards, clinic policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and all other required standards.

* Enhances clinic reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
