Job Description:
· Investment Banking Analysts play an integral role on investment banking teams, providing analytical support on public offerings, mergers and acquisitions and other financial advisory services for our clients in the following defined industry vertical: real estate, both public and private.
· Analysts assist in the preparation of company valuations, company marketing documents, financial models and client presentations in addition to performing various analyses in support of new business generation.
· Analysts develop their skills through broad exposure to both junior and senior bankers and they must be eager and able to learn in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
Qualifications:
· Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year experience working at a top-tier investment bank and must be able to hit the ground running.
· Candidates must have a proven academic record and a strong interest in finance.
· Accounting, Business, Economics and Finance concentrations are preferred, but not mandatory.
· The ideal candidate will:
(a) possess a strong work ethic and a record for excellence
(b) have excellent written and oral communication abilities and the ability to work with those at all levels
(c) have the ability to function equally well in both a team setting and on a self-directed basis and
(d) be familiar with spreadsheet and word processing software programs
