MILL OPERATOR III - Swing or Graveyard SUMMARY: Performs machine operations and is able to train others. Able to perform advanced clamping and locating procedures including the use of all locating aids, including dial indicators. Able to recognize and report machine problems or difficulties and help in its repair. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Loads and runs files - proficient with Microsoft Windows, Office, and Outlook. Ability to read and understand blue-prints and / or CAD models Performs preventative maintenance on machines including daily inspections, weekly maintenance, and annual maintenance Prepares & changes cutters and mill tools. Performs set up and locating procedures for all types of parts. Ensures all administrative activities are performed correctly. Uses forklift and overhead crane as required. Performs other duties as assigned Behavior: The incumbent must be self-motivated and work well under pressure, meeting and completing deadlines. The incumbent shall, at all times, demonstrate a professional attitude and cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors. EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SPECIALIZED TRAINING: MUST BE US CITIZEN OR LEGAL PERMANENT RESIDENT FOR THIS POSITION Minimum 2 year technical degree or 5 years of work experience in a machining environment, preferably with experience operating NC machines with Siemens Controls. Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Experience in a lead or supervisory experience desirable.
