About the Job
• Demonstrate commitment to HES 0/0/0 by leadership, program participation and personal performance record.
• Support the Process Safety and Risk management goals and objectives. Participate in site-wide Process Safety and Risk Reduciton activities as requested. Look for opportunities to be the 'fresh set of eyes' in this area.
• Dependably work fair share of overtime, call outs, and weekend duty.
• Maintain in-plant rotating and mechanical equipment to design specification including pumps, compressors, centrifuges, blowers and gearboxes.
• Utilize SAP for spares, history and scheduling.
• Monitor condition of rotating machinery utilizing parameters including vibration, temperature, pressures, flows and currents. Must be able to take field vibration readings, and understand basic data.
• Understand and assess the daily operation of various types of rotating equipment including centrifuges, reciprocating and centrifugal compressors, conveyors, screw feeders, blowers and pumps. Based on assessment, provide recommendations to improve reliability.

• H.S. diploma or equivalent with 5-8 years of millwright maintenance experience or Certificate of Completion from accredited trade school for Millwright/Mechanic training.
• Must demonstrate mechanical aptitude associated with rotating equipment.
• Must be self-directed and highly motivated with proven track record of success working stand-alone tasks and/or projects.
• Must have general Personal Computer (PC) skills.
• Must be trained and capable of using laser alignment and reverse dial indicator alignment skills.
• Must be able to read process flow diagrams, P&IDs, mechanical drawings and follow mechanical specifications.
• Must have a working knowledge of lubricants.
• Must have good written and communication skills
• Working knowledge of SAP and Excel
• Working knowledge of analytical test equipment (functionality and operation) with the ability to understand and apply vibration analysis theory
