Are you looking for a successful career?  Come and be a part of our 90-year history in the making as a Mining Applications Engineer!  NTN Bearing Corporation is a major division of a multinational manufacturing company providing highly engineered and quality precision components to the automotive and industrial industries.  The NBCA Mining Aftermarket Engineer will be responsible for aftermarket related technical support duties for Distributors, End Users, Sales Representatives, and others in the Construction and Mining Market for the United States as defined by the NBCA Engineering Department. 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

·            Support NBCA Aftermarket which can include providing technical education at customer/end user sites either in either a classroom setting or the company mobile class room known as the TTU (Technical Training Unit).

·            Assist sales in obtaining new business and retaining existing business.

·            Support customer technical needs for new and existing designs.

·            Provide bearing expertise and answers to technical questions and problems.

·            Analyze applications and bearing operation requirements, mounted conditions, lubrication, etc.

·            Provide observation and inspection on damaged bearings.

·            Provide product education.

·            Provide part number information with comparisons to competitor numbers and designs.

·            Provide and document cost savings maximizing uptime, reducing maintenance and improving productivity.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4 year undergraduate engineering or business degree (BSME degree preferred).
• 5+ years experience in Rolling Bearing Industry or experience in other Power Transmissions Industries.
• Must have high technical/mechanical aptitude.
• Must have 5 years+ Mining and Construction experience.
• Knowledge of applications such as shaker screens, drag lines, excavators, shuttle cars.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Ability to travel 60% of the time.
• Excellent time management skills required.
