A DNP or NP with a PhD is needed to join the Nursing Faculty of a university near the Twin Cities in Minnesota. This year-round nursing instructor position incorporates both didactic (theoretical) and clinical education. The position is full time, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with no call. Provide instruction to approximately thirty students in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program, including classroom lectures and laboratory training. Responsibilities include local off-site clinical rotation supervision of eight students every other semester. The right candidate will be encouraging, accessible, and have a passion for sharing their knowledge with the next generation of RNs.
A completed doctorate in nursing is required. Formal teaching experience is preferred, but candidates without a teaching background may also apply and develop skills with the help of their fellow faculty instructor – this is a very welcoming team.
