JOB PURPOSE:


This position is responsible for design, development and maintenance of a complex Windows Mobile application.  We are seeking a highly motivated Mobile Applications Developer to join our team in building the next generation of automated fuel delivery software.


 


DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:


Design, develop and maintains all FuelEdge System mobile applications.


 


DESCRIPTION OF NONESSENTIAL DUTIES:


Maintain back-office applications for the FuelEdge System.


 


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Supervise Test Engineer Intern


 


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:





  • B.S in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering




  • Ideal candidate will have 5+ (3 minimum) in the following areas:





    • Experience in technical design, coding, testing and deploying changes, enhancements, bug fixes and production support to an existing Windows Mobile Pocket PC application.



    • Experience with Windows Mobile 5 and/or Windows CE 6



    • Requires strong knowledge of .NET2.0 Compact Framework, C#, C++, ASP.net, socket development, threading, SQL Server 2000, SQL Server Mobile, Visual SourceSafe, Web Services, IIS, data replication strategies and Microsoft Office Suites.



    • Experience with programming networked devices:




      • TCP/IP



      • Serial



      • Wired, Wi-Fi, and Cellular networks



    • Experience in writing stored procedures for SQL Server 2000 with an eye toward performance implications.



    • Must have an excellent understanding of Object-Oriented programming.



    • Experience developing applications on mobile and/or in-vehicle devices.



  • Provide expertise and research in existing and emerging mobile technologies.



  • Perform research, develop specifications, estimates, architect and perform programming to support new versions of Windows Mobile, additional mobile devices and additional external hardware devices.



  • Provide technical assistance for developing new requirements, change requests and isolating applications bugs.



  • Provide assistance with quality test planning, test coordination and test failure remediation.



  • Setup and perform production deployment, assist in problems with setting up production devices, provide assistance with trouble-shooting and proof-of-concept development/testing for existing mobile installs as well as new installations. 



  • Must have proven developer experience in the entire Systems Development Life Cycle developing complex mobile and / or business applications.
