Position Description: Qualified candidates will lead software development effort to design, develop, integrate and test Communications Effects model(s) for the Digital Simulation Architecture (DSA) and Single Simulation Framework (SSF). SW Lead will work with Project Lead to define work products, tasks, schedule, milestones, staffing plan, etc. and will monitor and track progress of SW team (5-10 developers) against the plan. SW Lead will be responsible for development of Communications Model, model-framework interfaces, relational database components, graphical user interface, and/or other CSCIs.

The following are the Basic Qualifications for the position: Bachelor's degree in physics, math or engineering with 10 or more years of directly applicable experience. Years of experience may be traded for the degree requirement. Successful candidates must work well in a team environment and be able to work multiple tasks simultaneously. Previous SW team leadership or management experience required. Experience developing models in C/C++, Java or Matlab required. Object-oriented development experience preferred. This position requires a Secret security clearance. Technical leadership experience. Demonstrated proficiency in C/C++ and/or Java. Good writing, communication and presentation skills.

Desired Qualifications: Communications software experience. High-fidelity simulation experience.
