Remedy Intelligent Staffing is in search of an experienced moldsetter, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity in the New Albany / Johnstown area.

Summary of job:
To set-up, and monitor processes in the molding department, working with engineering department on new products, and with changes to existing products, work closely with tool & die, and maintenance departments on mold, and machine repairs. Will, at times, help to train, and document the progress of new moldsetters, and train moldsetters on new product, processes, and changes to existing products. Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a moldsetter, 5 years of experience in tool & die or a combination of both.

Essential duties, to include:

** Set-up, document, and monitor molding process

** Troubleshoot molding problems

** Attend moldsetter training on molding processes

** Coordinate with tool & die on mold repairs

** Coordinate with maintenance on machine repairs, and retrofits

** Coordinate with engineering on tooling changes, for new, and existing molds

** Coordinate with engineering on cost reduction ideas, and changes
