Molecular Laboratory Technologist

Enzo Clinical Laboratories is currently seeking a Molecular Laboratory Technology:

·         Candidate should have B. S. in related sciences.

·         Excellent computer/data entry skills.

·         NYS license required

The ideal candidate would preferably have at least 1 year of experience in the Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory setting, including setting up PCR reactions, DNA/RNA extractions.  In keeping with regulatory requirements, the candidate must be able to perform laboratory tests on human clinical samples using automated and semi-automated techniques. Laboratory testing extends to specimen preparation, instrument maintenance, QC for the parameters tested and quality assurance. The technologist will also be responsible for entering the results on the LIS system, after analyzing them. This is an ancillary lab position requiring strong technical, organizational, and customer service skills. Must be able to work independently.
