Momentum Functional Analyst

Federal Financial Business Analyst

CGI Federal is seeking numerous Functional/Business Analysts to support a new, high profile Federal engagement in Austin, TX in which we will implement and customize our Momentum product as the new ERP solution over the span of multiple years.

The Financial Business Analyst will conduct business analysis and implementation activities in support of a large agency-wide implementation of a federal financial management and integrated financial system. Activities will include the analysis of financial management business processes, policies, and systems - to include areas of Acquisitions, Procurement, Fixed Assets, A/P and A/R; among other modules of Finance and Accounting. The analyst will identify and gather requirements, and will assist with the configuration and design of the financial system. The Analyst will also identify training and organizational needs, and perform related analysis including development of training materials, user documentation, and delivery as necessary.

Required Skills:
Excellent oral and written communication capabilities and techniques - 2+ years
Hands-on experience with client federal procurement system implementations (e.g., configuration, documentation, product delivery) - 2 years in at least one area are required
Experience with Microsoft Office Products - 3 years
Understanding of system development life cycle (SDLC), project management principles, and methods - 3 years

Please note that Momentum-specific experience is preferred, although candidates with comparable ERP implementation experience (SAP, Oracle Financials, PeopleSoft Financials, etc.) will be strongly considered. We are seeking a number of strong functional candidates to support this engagement, and will provide the necessary Momentum training to all individuals selected. Ideal candidates will be self-starters, team players, and will have experience working directly with a Federal client.

Candidates should be US Citizens or of Permanent Resident eligibility, per Federal requirements. Must be flexible in terms of travel, as periodic travel to other client sites within the US may be required in this role. Only candidates selected for interview will be contacted.
