Money Room Supervisor BCL

Brink’s U.S., a division of Brink’s, Incorporated, is the premiere provider of armored car transportation, ATM servicing, currency and coin processing, document destruction and other value added services to financial institutions, retailers and other commercial and government entities.  The company has a proud history of providing growth and advancement opportunities for its employees.  We have a challenging opportunity for a Money Room Supervisor.


Brink’s Cash Logistics (BCL), the world’s leader in cash processing services, has a challenging opportunity for an experienced Supervisor. The selected individual will lead by example by ensuring that the branch policies and procedures are enforced at all times.

The successful supervisor will use his or her decision-making skills in planning the work for each shift. At the beginning of the day it is required that the supervisor prioritize the work that must be processed that day, schedule the staff to meet work demands, and distribute the work before the staff’s arrival times. Ensure accountability and security of all funds and adhere to Risk Management survey requirements and company policies.

Specific Job Duties:
Maintain accurate currency vault records, handle customer deposit inquiries, perform research on disputed transactions and is responsible for the daily balance of currency teller line
Manages daily currency room operations which may include deposit verification, change order preparation, currency/coin inventory management
Monitor workflows and adjust staffing needs and maintenance schedules as needed to ensure quality levels of service and performance in conjunction with the Operations Manager.
Monitor employees’ productivity to ensure we meet productivity goals
Field customer service calls
Respond to research issues within 24 hours of receipt
Train new and existing currency room staff in all aspects of processing functions, policy and procedure execution and implementation of new processes.
Report and resolve technical issues through to the Help Desk in a timely manner (obtain ticket number(s) to be reported in daily work status e-mail)
Ensure the staff follows the guidelines outlined in the General Security Regulations (GSR)
Report any operational deficiencies to management and other departments when applicable

Skills/Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications include:
College degree or two to three years experience in a leadership position within a production environment preferably cash processing.
Comprehensive knowledge of currency processing operations
Excellent organizational skills; ability to multi-task
Excellent time management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent employee relations skills with a team player orientation
Excellent staff development, leadership, and decision-making skills
Solid work history and credit record
Strong ethics and integrity
