Liebert Services is currently hiring a Monitoring Support Specialist for the Kansas City, MO area. The Monitoring  Support  Specialist  is responsible for the installation, commissioning, preventative and emergency services on Real Time Monitoring products serviced by Liebert. Strong IT networking knowledge preferred. Candidates must be available for regional travel with possible over-night stays and be open to on-call and weekend/evening work as needed.

 

 

Required Skills:

 

·         ASCIS  or ASECT preferred

·         Minimum four years electrical/electronic/IT technical degree, or equivalent training and experience

·         Minimum four years experience in computer, networking, or electronic fields

·         Experience with products such as SiteScan, Alber, Nform, or other remote monitoring offerings preferred.

·         Minimum one year equivalent industry experience in one or more of the following: BAS/BMS systems, Electronic Monitoring systems, Protocols and integration or Computer based networks

·         Professional

·         Reliable

·         Advanced Computer skills to include PC Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, and Networking

·         Must be able to read and interpret installation specifications, and logic flowchart diagrams

 

 

Position Duties:

 

·         Render on site and phone assistance to customers.

·         Communicate with Technical Support on equipment or system issues

·         Perform all work related tasks according to company guidelines

·         Implement Field Change Notices according to published guidelines

·         Provide proper and adequate communication to internal and external customers

·         Provide estimated time of arrival to the customer where applicable

·         Meet or exceed response time requirements for each customer

·         Complete scheduled maintenance documentation properly and provide to the customer and local office upon completion of each designated assignment

·         Strive to provide all customers a “first time fix” for their equipment

·         Maintain customer satisfaction rates according to company guidelines

·         Attend Customer Meetings as required

·         Maximize productivity by combining service opportunities

·         Complete all work in an efficient and timely manner

·         Capable of making technical and commercial decisions under pressure

·         Properly evaluate site and equipment for appropriate billing status

·         Maintain productive utilization rate according to company guidelines

·         Adhere to company dress code and safety regulations
