Work for a successful, family-owned real estate company! We are looking for a Mortgage Consultant Assistant to join our already outstanding team in the Syracuse area.

Job Summary:

Assist in the origination and closing of permanent and residential mortgage loans.
Participate in activities to increase the company’s share in the local mortgage market.
Assist Mortgage Consultants in analysis of appraisal to ensure collateral supports overall risk.
Obtain and verify compliance of mortgage loan application information.
Perform duties related to processing of Conventional, FHA, and VA loans.
   -ordering of appropriate documentation
   -Review and evaluate the mortgage credit application.
   -Assess product fit, pricing accuracy and credit risk.
   -Monitor applications closely to ensure timely commitment and closing dates.
   -Analysis of credit reports, income/asset verification and other required documentation to support a credit decision.

Skills Required:

Minimum of 6 months mortgage experience.
Knowledge of FHA/VA regulations, conventional loan requirements.
Strong communication skills.
A passion for excellent customer service.
