MORTGAGE LOAN PROCESSOR I

Be part of an entrepreneurial environment! Your primary responsibilities will be:

• Provide processing support to the Home Affordable Modification Program ( HAMP) 


• Review residential loan application files to verify application data is complete and meets establishment standards


• Recommends loans not meeting standards be denied


• Calls/writes to Credit Bureau and employer to verify accuracy of information


• Types loan application forms


• Calls specified companies to obtain property abstracts, surveys, appraisals or credit reports


• Prepares for underwriting analysis by analyzing income and debts and informs supervisor of discrepancies in title or survey


• Submits mortgage loan application file for underwriting approval


• Typing and mailing of approval/denial letters to applicants


• Submits approved mortgage loan file to Mortgage Loan Closer for settlement


• Tracks/records status of loans, including number of new applications, loans approved, canceled or denied, and qualifying/analyzing applications for mortgage loans on assumptions

We are seeking talented individuals with the following qualifications: 

• High school diploma or equivalent


• One to two years related experience and/or training


• Typing speed of 55 wpm preferred


• Excellent communication skills


• Analytical ability
